Job Role: AEM Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX (onsite role)
Mandatory required skills: AEM 6.x, AMS, AEM Cloud as a service, Migration Tools and Technologies, CI/CD,
Preferred/Desired skills : Java, AEM 6X, AMS, AEM as Cloud service, Groovy Scripts, ACS commons Tools, AJAX, Maven
- Experience on AEM version 6.x and higher version of AEM and AMS.
- Good knowledge of AEM Architecture, technology stack, Content Migration Tools and latest features
- Experience leading complex content migration projects, preferably from SDL to AEM
- Lead the end-to-end migration of content from SDL to AEM, ensuring data integrity, quality, and timeliness.
- Architect and design migration solutions, leveraging AEM best practices and methodologies.
- Experience in AEM APIs such as the AEM Assets HTTP API and the AEM JCR API to build custom migration solutions tailored to specific requirements.
- Proficiency in mapping existing CMS content taxonomies to AEM structures and transforming data to fit the new taxonomy model.
- Familiarity with diverse migration tools and techniques for importing content and assets into AEM while preserving metadata and relationships.
- Document the migration process, including taxonomies, mappings, and workflows, to facilitate future maintenance and updates.
- Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues that arise during the migration process, such as data discrepancies or compatibility issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the migration team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, and escalate issues as needed.
- Proficiency in Apache web servers, Dispatcher, CDN configurations, CI/CD tools, and Adobe Cloud Manager, complemented by expertise in authentication mechanisms like LDAP, SSO, and SAML.
- Knowledgeable in integrating third-party applications/software with Adobe AEM, as well as integrating Adobe tools such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch.
