PMO Analyst (US east coast hours)
Vytal Solutions, Inc. is a boutique consultancy based out of McLean, VA. Vytal Solutions provides project management services to small and mid-size professional services organizations, that serve their US federal and state government clients.
We seek a Project Manager to support PMO functions such as creating schedules, tracking deliverables, and facilitating and documenting meetings. You will be working in a PMO supporting a team of 50+ people, including data analysts, Medicare policy experts, research analysts, and data scientists. Job duties include:
- Project planning to develop a roadmap or WBS and identify phases and increments required to meet project or product goals
- Develop detailed schedules utilizing MS Project in a rolling-wave planning method
- Setup and, at times, administer weekly tasks, such as - facilitate weekly meetings and create agendas, administer the Jira board, keep the detailed schedule up to date
- Setup and administer monthly tasks, such as status reporting
- Maintain project artifacts – decision log, action items, risk register
- Adapt proven processes and operationalize them in a client project environment by setting up applicable planning and monitoring and control business rhythms
- Facilitate continuous process improvement

This position requires an individual to be detail-oriented, possess superior written and verbal communication skills, have good organizational skills, and demonstrates initiative. You will be working with, and therefore should have experience in MS Project, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams. We prefer you to have initiative while working in a virtual environment. You should have a reliable Internet connection and a phone to support on-camera and off-camera virtual work environments.

Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, computer science, psychology, or a related field with at least seven years of industry experience. The minimum experience for Master’s degree holders is five years.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
