Staff occupational therapist performs evaluation and treatment of impairment in functional status in daily living skills following a disability, disease or illness. The person in this position provides services to the following populations: Adults (Eighteen- to seventy-five-year-olds) Geriatrics (Seventy-five years and older)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
- Healthcare Provider (CPR)
Supervision
- Has limited supervision. May serve as supervisor to staff occupational therapy assistants and/or therapy aides if assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Occupational Therapy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy treatment procedures.
