Summary:
Trailer Bridge is looking for energetic, talented, self-motivated go-getters to join our growing logistics team. As a Logistics Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for invoice processing, billing, and gathering documentation on a shipment-by-shipment basis. The coordinator will maintain vendor relations within the scope of the company’s overall cash management strategy as well as customer relations through the process of billing and collection efforts. This position will also provide clerical and administrative support to the department as needed. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Maintains customer records to ensure accuracy of payment and the timeliness of billings.
- Processes and reviews all invoice batches for assigned customers within the group.
- Scans needed shipment-related documentation into the operating system.
- Bills customers directly and via web uploading.
- Creates customers as needed within the operating system.
- Handles other duties or projects as assigned.
- Reviewing and verifying shipment documents daily within all operating systems.
- Responsible for processing invoices in a timely fashion, in accordance with the Logistics Accounting policy and procedure.
- Entering payables for final approval.
- Ensuring all shipment paperwork is legible and matches open shipments.
- Notating individual shipments within the TMS.
- Utilizing Daily Communication to obtain paperwork while maintaining lasting relationships with our carrier network.
- Grasping key concepts of our Logistics brokerage division and approach to personal Customer Service.
- Handles other duties as assigned by the Manager, Team lead, or Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Rockstar go-getter attitude required.
- 1-2 years of general office experience; administrative support/documentation experience preferred.
- 2-3 years previous payables, or receivables experience, or other related administrative experience.
- Ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced, high volume work environment (includes ten-key by touch).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good PC skills, specifically MS Excel and Word.
- Sharp attention to detail is a must.
