Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dental scheduling systems
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Collect and update patient information in electronic Dental records systems
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental is preferred, but we are willing to train
- Knowledge of Dentall terminology and dental procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic Dental records systems such as Dentrix a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle patient inquiries or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
