We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead who will help us supervise, lead, motivate, and hold accountable our warehouse team. As a member of our logistics team, you will contribute to our company’s success by leading a team of warehouse associates to control inventory flow and effectively complete the sales process. This is an hourly position.
Legend Lighting is a family-owned lighting distributorship and showroom serving homebuilders, interior designers, and homeowners in Austin, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Our company was founded in 2008 and has grown to 25 employees while building a strong reputation as a leader in our local marketplace and our industry.
This position will challenge you to manage inventory flow in three separate spaces at two locations, manage inventory control, improve accuracy of our pick-pull-deliver process, and hold our team accountable to processes and procedures. Your duties as the Warehouse Team Lead will include:
- Lead the warehouse team to execute an effective completion of the sales process by ensuring customer orders are picked, pulled, and delivered accurately and on time
- Supervise receiving functions to ensure that that all incoming deliveries and returns are properly inspected, processed, and stored away in the correct locations and in a timely manner
- Delegating daily duties and activities of warehouse team
- Scheduling customer deliveries
- Hold team members accountable to the operational standards, requirements and best practices
- Implement best practices to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage losses
- Assist with space planning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment for customers and employees

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse team lead/supervisory role
- Experience using software for inventory control
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability and willingness to drive company delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift and move large and/or heavy objects
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Forklift experience helpful but not required
The schedule for this position is weekdays from 7:00AM to 4:00PM.
