Primary Functions
$3,000 Signing Bonus
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems and equipment including, but not limited to, HVAC units, kitchen appliances, outlets, light fixtures, toilet and sink leaks and locks.
· Provide scheduled after-hours support as required.
· Ensuring all equipment is maintained according to supplier guidelines. This includes refrigeration systems (evaporators and condensers), fire protection, freezer doors, and other mechanical systems.
· Develops preventative maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment. Receive, prioritize and process Maintenance Requests for service maintenance.
· Perform painting projects and touch ups to repair walls and woodwork.
· Assist with setup of spaces for rentals.
· Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations and obligations.
· Oversee the work of contractors as required.
· Be knowledgeable and a faithful supporter of the rules, regulations and the ministry of the church.
· High School Diploma or GED with Technical Training Certification (HVAC; Electrical; Plumbing) and Experience in Facility Maintenance.
· Must possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
· Valid driver’s license is required.
· Basic hands-on knowledge of painting, carpentry, landscape practices, and other commercial property core functions. Knowledge and understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and precautions.
· Knowledge and skills to operate common and specialized tools for repairs and maintenance.
· Understanding of codes and standards to complete visual inspections of units, grounds and other aspects of property and determine compliance.
· Ability to read, interpret and apply written instructions for repair and maintenance of maintenance of equipment.
