Summary A national brand headquartered in Knoxville is seeking a skilled in-house Multimedia Content Creator to develop both local and national brand materials. This full-time, in-office position offers benefits with heavy emphasis on video editing. Our marketing team handles the development of national and local brand content. This essential role involves creating, editing, and managing video and photography content for diverse uses.

Job Purpose This position is tasked with capturing, editing, managing, and delivering top-tier video and photography content for various aspects and audiences of our business.
Reporting Relationship and Organizational Impact This position reports directly to the Brand Manager and collaborates with the marketing team to produce content and deliverables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Video Editing: Edit and refine video content using industry-standard software to produce polished, impactful videos that align with our brand.
- Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, and conduct video shoots for corporate content, including interviews, b-roll, events, and testimonials. Videos are used on our website, social media platforms, presentations, and in offices both locally and nationally.
- Camera Operation: Utilize professional video cameras, lenses, and other equipment to capture high-quality footage. Ensure optimal lighting, sound, and composition.
- Photography: Set up, capture, and edit photos including headshots, candids, industry settings, events, etc. Possess comprehensive knowledge of lighting, editing, camera settings, and post-production.
- Concepting: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with the company's messaging and objectives.
- Post-Production: Handle post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, and adding visual effects or graphics as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all video content meets the company's quality and brand standards and is error-free before publication.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring it remains in excellent working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other stakeholders to align video content with overall marketing and communication strategies.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and video editing.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in film production, videography, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, and photography, with a robust portfolio showcasing corporate content.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with our current equipment including Canon EOS C200, Canon EOS 5D, lenses, mics, stabilizers, drones, etc.
- Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, and camera techniques for both video and photography.
- Strong storytelling and creative abilities to translate concepts into visually compelling content.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel for on-location shoots when required.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
Working Conditions This role offers a traditional small office environment with occasional light lifting.
Compensation Compensation for this role is based on experience and is exempt from overtime. Benefits include health insurance and paid holiday/vacation time.
