JOB SUMMARY:
- Lead supplier onboarding to the assigned Caesars purchasing system while maintaining all corporate and regional/property specific regulatory rules.
- Maintain supplier database. Working collaboratively with accounts payable and directly with suppliers for training.
- Support catalog management activities within identified catalog items/suppliers
- Lead support for connecting catalogs, including creating, implementation and support
- Work with collaborative groups to configure, test and document system improvements in alignment with company initiatives, policies and goals
- Understand the end-to-end business process and integration points for Source-
to-Pay and how technology can be leveraged to increase efficiencies
- Accountable for continuously improving training documentation and communicating to the Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Team of system improvements per feedback obtained by relationships and feedback from end users.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Training documentation and distribution thereof.
- Assist Strategic Sourcing professionals with technical and process issues as required, which may include basic business process solutions.
- Participate in team projects as assigned.
- Provide additional support to the purchasing system’s team as requested.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Technical Experience:
- Proficient with modern purchasing transactional systems. Experience with Oracle technologies is a plus
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT application support or Procurement/Supply Chain function required
- Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management and supplier performance management
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and knowledge of software systems
Educational Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or Informational Systems is preferred
