Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

In 2023, Lexington Technologies became part of the global Daido Steel family, a major steel producer headquartered in Nagoya, Japan.
Position Summary: Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our operations. This position involves the procurement of MRO supplies and raw materials for our tool and die department, and extends into customer service, product quoting, and assisting in the implementation of our new ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure MRO supplies and raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues
- Prepare and manage quotations for potential customers
- Support the implementation and optimization of the new ERP system
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related major
- 1 to 3 years' experience in procurement, production scheduling, cost estimating customer service or related.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and adapt to challenges
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
