MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
- High School or Equivalent (GED)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Completion of a Culinary School course, volume food preparation, or fine restaurant menu preparation is desirable.
- Current Serv Safe Certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
- One to three (1-3) years of experience in Food Service or a related field.
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to operate large and small food service equipment such as: ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, urns, mixers, blenders, braising pans, stem kettles, etc.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Gathers the ingredients necessary in order to prepare meals.
- Cleans the food preparation area.
