Job description for the position of Product Management Associate
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Determine customers' needs by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
* Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes following customer's SOP.
* Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
* Coordinate with the Taiwan and China office and customers to determine documents needed to bring product to market.
* Review and control documents, engineering files, pricing, packaging, and other setup files during the product setup and marketing process. Edit setup files with Adobe Illustrator when required.
* Coordinate between Taiwan and China offices to answer customer inquiries and product requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
* 4 year BA/BS degree required from an accredited institution (EE, computer science degrees, or business degrees a plus)
* Prior production scheduling/supply chain management experience a definite plus
* Familiar with PC hardware and software
* Outside (non-retail) sales and client experience
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, the newest version of Excel) and Adobe Illustrator skills a definite plus
* Database creation and maintenance experience a definite plus
* Organized, strong oral & written communication skills, ability to problem solve, and function well independently
* Fluency and literacy in English AND Mandarin Chinese absolutely necessary
* Experience in organizing information and analyzing raw data through defined rules based on management and/or customer requests
* Adept at creating and managing databases, tracking product status, setup progress, overall purchase orders, lead times, monitor ship dates, along with sales trends from customer supplied data.
* Assist with inventory control for VIP customers by analyzing sales and forecasting data provided by the customer.
* Good follow-up skills with close attention to deadlines for all pending issues.
* Good team work skills and flexible whenever the team needs support.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
