The Operations Assist position is important to the overall functionality of Dalton Carpet One. Operations Assists are interwoven into the job execution process. Their chief responsibility is centered around assisting the Operations Mgr & Account Teams with the flow of the job from ordering to invoicing. The training takes place on the job and online. Successful candidates will have a background in office administration as well as excellent organizational skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Adhere to the guidelines and expectations set forth in the CDO’s Employee Handbook
- Invoice customers/submit POs via customer portals.
- Monitor Orders Res emails & update purchase orders.
- Generate POs, assign materials, and place orders as necessary.
- Communicate with Account teams any discrepancies such as backorders, size, and cost.
- Print picking tickets for scheduled jobs & transfers and send them to appropriate warehouse.
- Monitor Customer Care emails, create service jobs & distribute info to Account Teams.
- Update & maintain job records in RFMS.
- Job cost completed jobs.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-years or more of Strong Collection is required.
