Position Overview
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Performs inspection of the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
· Develops and implements safety inspection policies and procedures.
· Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
· Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
· Monitors, maintains, and schedules routine certification related inspections for the facility and equipment.
· Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
· Regularly monitors state and federal regulations to ensure company compliance.
· Drafts safety inspection reports to document inspection findings.
· Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
· Maintains records of discharge of employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
· Lead the safety committee.
· Maintains ISN and similar safety data as required for customers.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required and/or a minimum of five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
