Position: Application Programmer III
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $125,900 - $135,900 per year
Clearance: Clearable
Our Research and Development focused department develops and supports, agile, integrated, process-based software solutions that enable a world class national laboratory to achieve its business and mission objectives, with focus on the health and safety of the employees, and protection of the environment, while complying with regulatory and other requirements effectively and efficiently. We work closely with partners across Nuclear Deterrence to deliver software systems that support all phases of the product lifecycle. The department specializes in data integration solutions that enable digital engineering.
KeyLogic is looking for a motivated Application Programmer/Software Engineer to work on projects that cover a range of system, applications technologies in the areas of Data Integration. You will research tasks, develop solutions, provide documentation and work with Denodo and Tableau. You will use Java to develop custom security policies. You will administer the Denodo environment and train our developers in the system administration. The selected candidate will learn to support current technologies, while leading and driving improvements and new architectures in support of future program goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with partners of many technical disciplines across the customer base in support of a National Mission.
Responsibilities:
Support the design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Denodo for the current list of applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Configure authentication and access management across Denodo and Tableau.
- Document authentication gaps and challenges.
- Administer Denodo environments and train our developers in system administration.
- Java development for custom security policies.
- Perform data profiling, mapping, and transformation to ensure accurate and efficient data integration.
- Develop and maintain data integration workflows, scripts, and ETL (Extract, transform, Load) processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Skills Req:
DOE Q Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Ability to obtain Sigma 15
- Ability to work on site and therefore will need to reside in the Albuquerque area.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Integration Specialist, preferably with hands-on experience with Denodo.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
