Underwriter/ Bi-lingual Underwriter
WORKFLOW RELATIONSHIP(S):
This position communicates with the Underwriting Manager regarding accounts, dealer responses, performance, and ideas that support and motivate the team.
This position communicates regularly with dealers regarding the status of funding their deals.
This position communicates regularly with customers for funding purposes which includes interviews, budget, vehicle related issues, and more.

- Subject Matter Knowledge - the person working in this position needs to have basic knowledge in the principles of customer service, verifications, and basic math.
- Data Entry - the person working in this position must be capable of quickly entering notes and account information into a system of record.
- Professionalism - the person working in this position must have the ability to convey a positive and professional image to our customers.

- Computer Skills - the person working in this position must be familiar with Word and Excel to create and maintain documents and reports; must be familiar with Google spreadsheets; must be able to use a system of record to create customer accounts; and, must be comfortable with learning and working with various types of software applications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Verifier’s job. - The Verifier’s job is largely sedentary work requiring the employee to sit for extended periods of time. The person working in this position must be able to spend the majority of her/his day typing information into a system of record, speaking on the telephone, and viewing a computer screen for an extended period of time. S/he may be required to file documents into physical files. On occasion, s/he may also be required to move boxes of files and stoop or bend to file or search for files.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to office equipment such as telephones, computers and faxes and may on occasion work with file cabinets, files and file boxes. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent with some customer service experience or a combination of both education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.34 - $24.42 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
