Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following an injury or illness. You will play a crucial role in improving patients' quality of life and promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and assessments to determine patients' physical abilities and limitations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercises
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience in acute care, hospital, or pediatric settings is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to physical therapy
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
