Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling telecommunications systems and networks efficiently. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication within the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB TASKS
- Installs fiber and fixed wireless subscriber units including but not limited to, radios, mounting hardware, cable, fasteners, routers and other necessary parts and equipment necessary to provide customer with quality Internet service Monitored by the Combination/Telecom Network Tech through observation and feedback from customers regarding service. [50%]
- May provide pre-qualification for service. Monitored by the Combination/Telecom Network Technician Supervisor and the Plant Operations Manager through periodic meetings and review of records. [10%]
- Performs cable locates when requested promptly, accurately as prescribed by management. [5%]
- Assists other departments with assistance when requested and approved by supervisor(s) which may include but is not limited to placing cable, construction projects, terminating connectors, fastening cable and other duties in a professional manner under the guidance and direction of supervisors as requested. [10%]
- Performs other duties that may include part running, inventory, cleaning and other duties as assigned. [15%]
- May provide provisioning of radios, routers, and other equipment.[5%]
- Documents installations and service calls accurately and thoroughly as directed by supervision. [5%]
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires the ability to complete work on an individual basis and to participate as a member of a team to complete tasks and engage in problem solving activities. Also, must relate well with others since information has to be obtained on occasion from others and informal training provided. Negotiation, persuasion, and diplomacy are required to deal with customers.
LATITUDE:
Most duties are assigned with some flexibility in arranging tasks to complete duties. Problem solving is accomplished in conjunction with the supervisor and requires industry knowledge. Some decisions not effecting other departments can be made independently.
CUSTOMER SERVICE/INTERACTION:
- Daily phone, face-to-face, and written interaction with employees throughout the company to perform job functions.
- Customers and vendors are contacted daily by phone and by face-to-face interaction to perform job functions.
EDUCATION:
- Technical training, manufacturers certifications and similar experience, desired.
- Some computer training helpful but not required

LICENSE:
- Valid AZ driver’s license and a good driving record, required.
PHYSICAL:
- Occasional bending, carrying, squatting, twisting, and turning, and lifting to 40 pounds independently, required.
- Frequent visualizing of a computer screen, required.
- Climbs ladders, works on roofs or other structures necessary to mount equipment
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Outdoor conditions in all types of weather.
OTHER:
- Frequent on call rotation, possible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
