Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- HS Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in troubleshooting basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, and VFD drives.
- Ability to communicate complex electrical issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Megamation or Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting and bending for extended period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems to reduce downtime.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
- Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance, inventory, and tasks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring, circuits, motors, and
- control systems.
- Replace faulty electrical components like relays, switches, and sensors.
- Use electrical diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, specifically input/output and control voltages.
- Use a multimeter to check voltage and continuity.
- Understanding Yaskawa robots is a plus.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive systems.
- Replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical systems.
- Upgrade and modify equipment for efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work closely with production staff to minimize disruptions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians on complex problems.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
