Develop integrated Enterprise project scheduling system using scheduling software
Primavera P6.
Create and maintain master schedules for engineering, procurement and
construction activities.
Work in close collaboration with different departments for developing, maintaining and
updating Project schedules, cost and resources.
Review monthly project progress with supervisor, construction manager and Project managers.
Develop work breakdown structure based on project scope study and assigning activities to
WBS.
Collaborate with team lead to develop reporting system for EPS project schedule, risk,
progress and resource forecasting using primavera P6.
Provide technical support and work collaboratively with Supervisor and stakeholders
to ensure that the project schedule scenarios (what if) are developed to satisfaction.
Timely identification, notification, optimization and recording of schedule scenarios supporting
trends items that have potential for future impact within project scope
Update project schedule base on work performed and review with supervisor and project
team.
Project Critical and Longest Path analysis and identifying the deflection from the baseline.
Develop and maintain Monthly Look ahead schedule in Primavera P6.
Resource and cost planning analysis for both
approved and proposed work.
QA/QC in project schedules using DCMA 14-point assessment.
Earn Value management and creating Earn value reporting for supervisor and key
stakeholders.
Record risk items, update, and maintain risk register.
Ensure all project/discipline related risks are raised and conveyed to Project Team.
Perform claim analysis, delay analysis and Time Impact analysis based upon P6 Project
baseline.
Coordinate with Supervisor and project team to incorporate and analyze effect of change
orders on P6 schedule and resources.
Total Float and Free Float monitoring and reporting.
Evaluate impact of the project trends for cost and schedule, provide most accurate total
impacts by ensuring inclusion of all cost categories (engineering, material, equipment,
construction) and schedule impacts.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Scheduling with at least 4 years of
scheduling experience on complex Railway Projects.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.
- Ability to analyze and input data on project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Scheduling and Project controls principles and standard Practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office suite.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Works indoors, with some onsite/outdoor work
- Frequently sits, stands, walks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard
- May climb, balances, stoop, and crouch while navigating work areas under construction
- May be exposed to harsh weather conditions and loud noise.
