The Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners currently has exciting opportunity available for a Class A CDL Driver at our Montgomeryville, PA facility! The primary duties of the CDL Driver include safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer to deliver sheets or finished products to customers and in accordance with state and federal laws.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Inspect load in trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and it is the correct load before leaving.
- Verify count while truck is being unloaded, as allowed by customers.
- Transport load by required route to proper destination while observing all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to operation of heavy motor vehicles on public roads and highways.
- Obtain shipping bill of lading and necessary signatures and return completed paperwork to shipping office.
- Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Truck Service Data, Safety Data, Quality Data.
- Complete daily timecard, driver logs, and all other work reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Professionally interact with customers and others at points of delivery and/or pickup.
- Perform daily services such as - checking the oil level, water level, fuel, air in tires, and clean vehicle as needed.
- Report any maintenance items to supervision immediately. Be proactive in the maintenance of the truck and trailers.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
THE ROYAL GROUP REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Possess and maintain Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Maintain compliance with DOT driver qualifications.
- High degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of a tractor-trailer and in the prevention of damage to materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of regional roadways.
- Basic Math skills required.
- Must be able to read and decipher a tape measure.
- Able to meet company safety standards.
- Must be able to read English.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day.
