The Cypress is recruiting a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm and will be responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Driver:
- Pickup and deliver residents safely to all scheduled activities where transportation is needed.
- Open vehicle doors and greet members and guests.
- Carefully help members and guest who need assistance. Retrieve/Replace walkers, wheelchairs, etc. and assist as needed.
- Make miscellaneous trips for the office to the printer, post office, etc. as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
- Perform routine vehicle preventive maintenance as directed by the department head.
- Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the department head.
- Maintains an accurate and current log of trips and mileage for Cypress vehicles.
Performs Valet duties as needed.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Must be at least 18 years or older and have a valid driver license and maintain a “clean” driving record.
- Prefer to have a CDL with “P” endorsement or be willing and eligible to obtain one within 1 year of hire.
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three to twelve months’ experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Pay range $17 - 18 per hour, depending on experience.
