Description:
DJS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to serve as the single point of contact for the Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives (SAMI). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale programs with a comprehensive lifecycle budget and complexity similar to the task order requirements. This includes planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs in support of the agency's mission.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives requests.
- Serve as the main liaison between the contractor and the client for all matters related to contractor performance.
- Provide subject matter expert support across various aspects of strategy and management.
- Oversee multiple projects within a large-scale program, ensuring successful execution and completion.
- Develop and deliver applied learning and development initiatives.
- Understand and navigate the VA operational and regulatory environments.
- Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out programs in alignment with the agency's mission and goals.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective collaboration.
- Ensure comprehensive and cohesive project management strategies are in place.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in project/program management.
- Strong expertise in strategy and management, specifically within program/project
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Veterans Affairs operational and regulatory environments.
