Arbor Associates, a healthcare and human services-based staffing firm is currently handling recruiting efforts for multiple long-term contracts of Direct Support Professionals. These are 3-6 month-long contract opportunities to support individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, mental health diagnoses, or challenges with substance abuse.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:

Support a team that cares for youth and adolescents in a residential group home or other settings.

Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities (DD), intellectual disabilities (ID), and histories of substance use disorder, as well as populations in recovery, and individuals who have behavioral challenges, or mental health diagnoses.

Foster a safe living environment for all individuals in our care in group homes, residential programs, rehabs, schools, shelters, etc.

Ability to assess, evaluate, and respond to the needs of various programs/consumers
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months of experience working in Direct Care in Human Services or a related field as a CNA, Residential Counselor, Home Health Aide (HHA), Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or similar position.
