NIGHT SHIFT (9PM-9AM)
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- CPR certification is required
- Must have completed an EMT Training Program:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: which includes training in basic emergency medical procedures such as airway management, oxygen administration, and bleeding control.
- Clinical Experience: Complete clinical experience or ride-alongs, where students have the opportunity to observe and assist certified EMTs in real-life emergency situations.
- Pass the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam or state certification exam.
- Must possess and EMT license in the State of Texas
- Continuing Education: Maintain certification and licensure through continuing education and renewal requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a critical care or emergency room setting
- Proficient in patient assessment and providing immediate medical care
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical professionals
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with the movement of patients
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 60 per week
