The Specialist is responsible for assisting in the effort to ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery of construction components from the site’sManufacturing facility. The Specialist has a significant impact on the development of standard processes as well as the training of team members within their specialized field. .

- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.
- Follow safety principles, processes, standard operating procedure (SOP), and job hazard analysis (JHA), for materials, equipment, and property.
- Proficiency in finishing techniques for high-performance concrete and self-compacting concrete.
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixes and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Skill in using finishing tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds, hard trowel finish, broom finish, edging, etc..
- Understanding of concrete curing methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to concrete work.
- Physical stamina and strength to work with heavy concrete materials.
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship in finishing work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions accurately.
- Experience training and leading finishing crews.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in concrete, construction, manufacturing or related fields is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in specified critical manufacturing operation area is required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience in general construction is preferred.
- Experience in a Union environment is preferred.
