Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and adhere to health and safety protocols
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Creativity in designing engaging activities that promote learning through play
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child
- Basic understanding of early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, science, and physical education
Please note that previous experience in tutoring or working in a daycare setting is highly desirable.
