Job Title: Supervised Visitation Monitor

Job Type: Part-time (potential for full-time)
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Supervised Visitation Monitor to ensure the safety and well-being of children during court-ordered visitations in compliance with California family court guidelines. This position requires excellent communication skills, keen observational abilities, and a compassionate approach to working with families in challenging situations. NOTE: This position undergoes a 2 step interview process. An initial assessment done by one of our employees then a final assessment done by supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Supervised Visits: Monitor and supervise visits between children and non-custodial parents or other family members as ordered by the court.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe and neutral environment during visitation sessions, ensuring the physical and emotional safety of all parties involved.
- Document Observations: Record detailed observations of interactions between children and visitors, noting any concerns or violations of visitation rules.
- Facilitate Communication: Assist in facilitating positive communication and interactions between children and visiting family members, promoting healthy relationships.
- Report Writing: Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing each visitation session, documenting any incidents or noteworthy interactions.
- Maintain Professionalism: Uphold professional standards and ethics in all interactions with children, families, and court personnel.
- Follow Court Orders: Adhere to court-ordered visitation schedules and guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Clear background check
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to maintain neutrality and professionalism in emotionally charged situations.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the designated area.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Per contract 2 year dedicated (minimal) *free training provided*
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the region).
- Crisis intervention training or certification. (not necessary)
Work Schedule and Compensation:
- Part-time position with flexibility in scheduling based on court orders and client needs.
- Hourly wage commensurate with experience and qualifications.
