Job brief
We are looking for a Prime Rib Roast Cutting Specialist w/Grill Experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. If you can accurately cut prime rib roast we would really like to talk with you!
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently cook steaks, fish, vegetables, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Prep food items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Saute & Grill cooking experience. Able to grill steaks to correct temps and accurately cut prime rib roast.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Temperature screenings
- Social distancing guidelines in place
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place.
