Our CNC Machinist Apprentice program is a combination of classroom training along with working alongside a skilled CNC Machinist.
Earn and Learn by attending school every Friday from 7am-3:00pm.
Next class starts August 2, 2024, however, will start working immediately before the start of class.
After completing 648 hours of hands on learning and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training will obtain Department of Labor Machinist Journeyman’s card with 27 articulated credits towards an associate degree in manufacturing.

CNC Machinist Apprentice will be responsible for setting up and running CNC equipment to produce parts that meet precise specifications for the medical industry.
CNC Machinist Apprentice Responsibilities:

Operate manual and automated machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment.

Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine the specific operation to be performed.

Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

Set up and adjust machines, such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.

Pay: $16.00+ per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
