SCOPEOFWORK: Assist in the day-to-day operations of Central Office
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pleasant demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel/Word and database program applications
- 3 years of experience in an office environment preferred
- Well-organized with demonstrated ability to attend to detail. Ability to communicate orally and in writing
REPORTSTO: Business Administrator and Human Resources Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote professional image for the Concord School District through the appropriate handling of internal and external phone calls. Monitor auto-attendant software and alert Technology Dept. of anyissues
- Maintain an organized reception area and workspace, which promotes a professional image to external and internal visitors
- Reception - greet/direct visitors
- Sort and distribute inter-office and incoming US mail
- Manage Course/Professional Development reimbursement. Collect, process and maintain records of applicable documentation. Ensure availability of funds in District budget. Work with Business Office to process workflow
- Generate purchase orders for central office staff as needed.
- Process volunteer applications and maintain database
- Set up new District outside contractors/vendors andvolunteers in Raptor security system
- Maintain cash receipts log
- Prepare Food Service checks and cash deposits as needed
- Prepare general fund and expendable trust checks and cash deposits daily as needed
- Maintain updates to internal mailbox labels
- Postage meter maintenance andupgrades
- Prepare correspondence, parcels and certified mailings for Central Office and other District personnel asneeded
- Monitor inventory and order office and copier supplies as needed
- Act as record-keeper for other School Board and/or committee meetings on a backup basis as needed
- Fingerprinting new hires, contracted service providers and designated volunteers • Create invoices for accounting
- Perform general clerical duties for Central Office staff as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.94 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
