Position Summary
The Project Manager II will be responsible for end-to-end oversight and organization of large-to-strategic in scale, cross-functional company projects and deliverables through partnership with various departments internally and clients externally. The PM II will work closely with the Business Analysts to execute projects. The PM II facilitates controlling the project budget and timeline and keeping the project team on track to deliver on time and within scope to meet stakeholder expectations. The PM will contribute to the definition and facilitation of Slavic401k solutions to track progress and mitigate delays and project impacts due to change in scope. This position is responsible for ensuring deliverables support initially agreed upon timelines and requirements. The PM is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, documenting and reporting on all aspects of the project. Additionally, the PM provides leadership and guidance to the project team – including junior project managers.
Essential Functions
- Provides ongoing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to all members of the Project team – including Business Analysts and junior Project Managers.
- Estimate, plan, execute, and administer multiple projects across the full project lifecycle, varying from large-to-strategic in scale with respect to business impact.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and team to ensure project milestones are met, and effectively support the project by performing data collection and analysis specific to every project.
- Actively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to support the project team in critical thinking, project development, and recommendation.
- Align resources, manage issues and risks, and coordinate various elements necessary to complete the project.
- Strengthen the company’s research and development efforts by keeping up with industry trends and insights (processes and methodologies).
- Work with the Business Analysts to prepare reports – including, but not limited to, variance reports, status reports, project health reports, – for use by management and executive leadership.
- Review and understand preliminary analyses provided by Business Analysts to begin planning and executing based off of the reports.
- Maintain dashboards in PM software.
- Manage project teams using standard project methodology, ensuring quality and providing stakeholder support.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Work with BA and systems (IT) departments to collaborate on cross-functional efforts.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings: status meetings, planning meetings, review meetings, working sessions, etc.
Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of PMI knowledge and ability to apply (PMP, DASM, Agile Certification, or equivalent certification in PM field preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to maintain project plans and pull reports for leadership.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PM principles and methodologies.
- An ability to effectively communicate with the project team and staff in business and technology using the appropriate language.
- Strategic and tactical problem-solving skills.
- Top-down thinker, quick learner, and driven.
- Ability to lead in ambiguous situations and actively seeks to collaborate.
- Takes initiative, works independently when needed, and eager to learn new skills and approaches.
- Financial and Technology business domain knowledge.
Experience
- 1-2 years of people leadership experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a project manager, or similar role
- 3-5 years of experience with project management software such as Asana, Trello, Jira, MS Project.
- Experience in the financial technology industry a plus.
- Experience working within the framework of a hybrid project environment (Agile and Waterfall) a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, or similar field
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates & Licenses
- PMP certification a plus, but not required.

What’s in it for you Package
This role will have a base pay range of
$72,450 - $100,000 annual salary. Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role.
This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
