Under the direction of the Director, Video Production for Turn5, the Video Host is responsible for writing engaging and informative product overviews for Turn5’s stores, installation of aftermarket parts on company & customer vehicles and for hosting product review videos across all brands. Work to maximize production through product installation research, physical installation, studio organization/cleanliness, unboxing and re-boxing, and communication with various members in our photo/video production areas. A Video Host must be responsible, courteous, a good listener, have strong on camera presence, and ready to problem solve each day to keep our fast-paced production moving. This position requires a vast knowledge with installs for parts ranging from appearance to performance (exhaust, suspension, etc.).
Year 1 is going to be about:

Research current and new products/vehicles for scripting, to ensure all information is presented correctly and accurately to customers in the videos

Ability to shoot in the host pods without a videographer.
- Able to correctly identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

Clean & prepare products & sets for video, repackage and assist with inventory back to the warehouse

Able to operate forklift and reach trucks to pull inventory from warehouse.

Utilize Powerhouse to systematically and physically move inventor in and out of studios

Capture video of products on table/sweep for footage use in product videos.
- Evaluation of products, to determine key important attributes to customers

Responsible for utilizing smart sheets for scripting, assignments, and product movement.
We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:

College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
-
Must have vehicle knowledge in muscle cars, trucks, & Wranglers and aftermarket products.
- Capable of writing scripts for product content.
- General knowledge of Video Production (producing, lighting, cameras) preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to occasionally travel (may include weekends) for events being covered by Turn 5.

Beginner to Intermediate experience with Word and Excel.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and Smartsheet

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Mechanical knowledge & capability to perform basic to moderately difficult product installations on multiple generations of Mustangs, Trucks and Jeeps
