Job Summary
This position is responsible for administering help in certain areas within administrative work, maintaining dock schedules, clerical tasks, and other duties as necessary. This position is full-time, with the hours of 7-3pm M-F and can expect a 40 hour work week. This is a temporary position and will end around September '24.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administration:
- Learn how to enter/post orders (Coke orders, switch Knouse to Sunberry).
- Learn how to enter/post receipts (for all customers).
- Always ensure adherence to customer requirements and organizational standard operating procedures, including, but not limited to, communication, processing of paperwork, billing, and inventory maintenance.
- Communicate and provide information by relevant methods both internally and externally to assist warehouse operations and customers.
Maintain Dock schedule:
- Schedule appointments in Opendock for Warehouse Account Representative’s customers.
- Organize, input, and update relevant data, including the creation of shipping documents, the entering of load receipts and all related functions using both internal and external computer applications to effectively service the customer and maintain up-to-date, accurate transactional records and inventories.
- Ensure customer issues are dealt with in an effective manner, involving the customer service manager and/or operations manager when necessary.
Clerical tasks: (Learn small tasks in the clerk role to help cover lunch breaks and as needed)
Checking in drivers:
- Check if they are on the schedule for the day.
- Double-check drivers check in sheet is accurate (city and state, pick up number, carrier etc.).
- Inform the driver of the doc door they will be going to.
- Give paperwork to the driver to give to the loader.
- Print the Bill of ladings and have the driver sign after the driver has been loaded.
- Emailed signed Bill of Lading to the client.
- Send scans to customers.
- Checking Knouse Schedule through shift for changes.
- Checking dock schedule for add on’s, moves, and/or deletes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extremely high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including proficiency with Word and Excel.
- High-energy, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
