We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and a keen eye for detail.
This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities, including electrical and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance management, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
SUMMARY:
Candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude, vendor communications. Client service skills, and commitment to excellence is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Experience working on, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment, including chillers and roof top mechanical units
- Experience troubleshooting low voltage circuitry
- Ability to get a MED badge upon hire
- 1-3 years leading safety management programs for construction; experience with safety administration in office and retail environments, a plus
- 1-3 years teaching and developing skills in others
- Demonstrated knowledge of property maintenance equipment, tools and procedures
- General knowledge of building specs as well as basic understanding of how each building system works
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- A commitment to a collaborative working process, building and maintaining strong professional relationships with team and vendors.
- Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance and preventive maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, and landscaping.
- Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
- Responsible for maintenance of company facilities and equipment
- Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures.
- Provides process and procedure training.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the maintenance, and safety programs.
- Maintains inventory of all facility equipment and systems and develops preventive maintenance procedure for each item.
- Schedules work order services and repairs on a priority basis.
- Knowledge of life safety regulations, preventative maintenance, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, equipment maintenance is a plus.
Safety Duties
- Design job aids, checklists, training videos, SOPs and Best Practices
- Ensure Lock Out/Tag procedures and other safety programs are in place at each property
- Defining Best Practices for Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Facilitating Tabletop Drills/Role Plays for Emergency Preparedness

- Outstanding attention to detail and observation skills with ability to articulate findings recommendations and needs in a succinct manner to senior management
- Possess a valid driver’s license or ability to acquire one upon employment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Experience developing and implementing site specific safety plans
- Bachelors or masters degree in safety, environmental health, biology, engineering or related field preferred
- Ability to travel to OK, CO and other states as needed to set up or maintain safety/maintenance programs
