SUMMARY
The Manager of Financial Operations and Data Analytics is responsible for leading and managing all efforts pertaining to financial operations and data analytics for the rFinance Company. In addition, the manager will assist the Director of rFinance in strategic projects to expand the capabilities or rFinance to meet its growth and risk mitigation objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and evolves the rFinance Multi-Lender Platform pricing and waterfall logic. This includes executing the monthly pricing process timely to ensure compliance with rFinance’s obligations with its retailers, lenders, and tech team. This also includes analytics to back test pricing to ensure accurate pricing to retailers and finance fee costs savings analysis to help drive platform adoption.
- Manages and evolves the rFinance Multi-Lender Platform loan disbursement model. This includes a daily reconciliation to ensure rFinance’s lenders’ disbursements are accurate and timely. Discrepancies are to be identified and resolved with lenders and retailers in a timely fashion to ensure accurate loan disbursement to retailers and hold lenders accountable.
- Manages and improves rFinance’s revenue streams through analytics and oversight of the service billing process to retailers and referral fee payments from lenders. This includes building models to support revenue projections and financial outlooks.
- Oversees the period-end accounting close process for rFinance Company including journal entries, account reconciliations and periodic accruals. Performs and oversees financial reporting, projections, outlooks, and budgeting. Works closely with corporate accounting and FP&A teams to provide data and information, meet corporate deadlines, and improve accounting processes and controls.
- Develops and manages a team of analysts to develop accurate data, reporting and analytics for all rFinance’s stakeholders (management, retailers, lenders, etc.). This includes working closely with rFinance’s leadership to identify and develop the data analytics to manage and grow the business as well as working with the technology vendor to build out system reports and reliable access to rFinance’s data. This also includes leading the development and monitoring of data integrations and models to support the business’s needs.
- Assist the Director of rFinance in strategic projects to expand the capabilities or rFinance to meet its growth and risk mitigation objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor degree (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of relatable experience leading teams and projects including (data analytics, finance, audit, accounting, process transformation, and system implementation)
- Business intelligence training and experience required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (especially complex functions and formulas as well Power Pivot to integrate and work with large data sets)
- Experience with reconciliations and data validation
- Experienced problem solver
- Detail orientated
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, disciplined
- High integrity
- Aptitude to quickly learn and apply technical aspects of consumer finance.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
