Basic Functions:
Act as a 2nd Level Support, consulting, addressing reparations and updates computer programs or software required for the on-going operation of the facility. This position also directly supports the technical aspects of end-user computing. This position’s responsibility is to setup, deploy, troubleshoot, fix and upgrade end-user computers, desktop software and peripherals equipment including printers, scanners, etc. Additional duties include the maintenance and management of the local area network and standalone computer systems providing solutions and identifying issues in the network in a timely manner meeting the levels of support established by the corporation.
Task & Responsibilities:

1. As a support level, it must guarantee the resolution of problems within the deadlines established in the SLA Agreement
2. Works with Service Desk and Networks Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients,
3. Ensure the security and integrity of Fresenius’ devices.
4. Complies with the agreed projects, objectives, and initiatives, ensuring scope, deadlines, deliveries, and costs.
5. Guide and promote users in their service catalog requirements
6. Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and work instructions established by IT managers.
7. Provides support to the organization when new systems are implemented, or existing systems are modified. Provides a high level of computer hardware and software technical support to all users.
8. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for the end-users including off-site repair for remote users as needed.
9. Provides support to the appropriate organizational groups when new systems are implemented, or existing systems are modified. Provides a high level of computer hardware and software technical support to all users.
10. Logs information on general network performance, server health, user requests and projects status in accordance with IT procedures.
11. Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards.
12. Ensures that all critical data on all computers systems are protected and recoverable in the event of a system failure by backup to removable media or another approved means.
13. Participates in the accurate inventory tracking of all computer hardware to ensure items are properly tagged, inventory is rechecked as required.
14. Resolves issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products. This includes LAN administration support.
15. Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
16. Receives general guidance and direction in the form of mutually agreed project goals and objectives. Progress is reported via periodic reports, staff meetings and regular communication.
17. Participates and supports Environmental, Safety and Health to meet organizational goals.
Education Required:
· MS in Computer Engineering or a BS in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
·Five (3) year experience working directly with personal computers performing, troubleshooting and LAN/WAN administration is a must.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
