Our client is hiring a
Outside Sales Representative with technical sales experience from industries such as warehouse automation, material handling equipment handling, commercial construction support services or selling technical products directly to join our client. This is a direct hire opportunity, with benefits and great company culture! This position will be in office for the first six months while learning the product lines, and then hybrid once fully selling in territory. The territory will encompass Wisconsin and Illinois, with a broad base on industrial industries to call on, and grow to additional states as the successful candidate demonstrates strong product knowledge.
Job Summary:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual target for total sales
- Engage in industry related business development opportunities to establish rapport for customers
- Qualify new leads to advance into future quotes
- Cultivate strong business relationships to develop customers into partners
- Preserve CRM database of allocated leads, opportunities, quotes and orders
- Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals
- Produce an accurate and timely report of activities, forecasts, and orders
- Travel customers to perform site visits and consultations
- Be an energetic person who is results driven, self-directed, and professional
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience selling to end-user customers and your client base included companies who bought warehouse automation, material handling equipment handling, commercial construction support services or selling technical products directly to manufacturers!
- Ability to travel 30% to 40%
- Solution-based sales experience incorporating multiple services
- Track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, and other software programs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend contracts, building drawings, and technical documents
- Produce comprehensive, organized, and detailed documents
