Special Educator/Licensed Social Worker with ABA Training will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing educational services based on Applied Behavior Analysis, functional assessment and analyses, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.
Competitive rates at $110-$150/hour, paid on a monthly basis

Paid Sick Leave: 1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 56 hours

Complete assessments, including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs
Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans, and behavior intervention plans
Analyzes goal and behavior data
Develop and monitor treatment plans, including, but not limited to creating programs and stimuli as needed for treatment goals
Provide parent training as approved by funder
Actively seek parent and/or client feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
Collaborate with client’s related service providers, teachers, and school administration with respect
Submit written and digital reports and invoices within established timelines
Provide services consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values
Voluntarily participate in opportunities for staff training and education
Providers should note that only direct time with the client is billable and treatment planning is conducted outside of scheduled times with the client
Successful completion of employee training as required by law
Master’s degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or related human services field
New York State Special Education Certification/New York State Licensed Social Worker
Formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies, training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client
Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
Current, appropriate license or certification, prerequisite of title and level of services rendered
Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
Knowledge of DTT programming and implementation
Flexible availability and ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and email
