ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Driving long distances with your personal vehicle to/from/on construction sites (sometimes in inclement weather) Required - mileage reimbursement will be provided
- Performs field inspections to identify items that do/don't comply with the Construction General Permit & other Stormwater regulations
- Generates reports based on field inspections for submission to clients and regulatory authorities
- Communicates with clients to inform them about regulations and achieve compliance
- Regular, predictable, onsite attendance. Attend monthly in-office meetings and trainings as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Based in the Greater Santa Rosa area REQUIRED. Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) or Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) Highly Preferred
- Education: High School Required; College Preferred, Classes or training in areas of sediment and erosion control and/or stormwater pollution prevention (or closely related fields) or relevant college class work in environmental topics highly preferred.
- Experience: Stormwater/SWPPP Experience Preferred; Construction-Related Experience is a Plus, 1-2 years of sediment and erosion control or stormwater pollution prevention experience required. Experience with BMPs, SWPPP design, coordination, and site review/auditing preferred.
- Computer Skills: Typing, Microsoft Office, File Management, and Gmail Required; Adobe Acrobat, Asana, and Bluebeam is a Plus
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills Required
- Extensive walking on construction site (sometimes in inclement weather) Required
