Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist in diagnostic evaluations. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations, including sonography and phlebotomy
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Implement infection control measures and maintain aseptic technique
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Triage patients based on their needs and prioritize care accordingly
- Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient information accurately
Skills:
- Proficient in sonography techniques for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to prevent infections
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and processes
- Ability to phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing
- Experience in memory care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Skilled in conducting diagnostic evaluations for accurate treatment planning
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [STATE]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
