We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Machine Maintenance Technician. As a Maintenance Tech, you will support our blow molding production processes, including maintenance, troubleshooting and set up of machines and related equipment. You will ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and quality standards and practices are adhered to.
Specific Skills required for a Machine Maintenance Technician:
Must have prior manufacturing maintenance experience, including good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. (It would be a plus if this experience comes from a blow molding or injection molding background.)
Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems would be a plus.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Must have the ability to interpret a variety of gauges and measurement instrumentation.
Must be able to lift 70+ lbs, bend, push and pull 80+ lbs, grip, pinch, climb and complete complex jobs requiring awkward positions. This is physical and fast-paced work. Lifting and bending is also required.
Must be able to independently set a mold and process in a new part from a drawing.
Set up, repair, and troubleshoot blow molding equipment, ancillary equipment, and support equipment.
Able to perform mold and color changes to meet scheduling requirements.
Responsible for inspecting machinery to ensure all safety features are working properly.
Perform periodic preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Must have prior experience with and be able to obtain a company tow motor license.
Must be a self-motivated and able to work well with others and provide direction and follow up to ensure tasks have been completed.
Commitment to all safety standards and good housekeeping required.
Will be required to complete all necessary OSHA training upon hire.
Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed.

Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, up to $32.00 per hour, dependent on experience/skill level.
