Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk/Billing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk area and billing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the front desk and billing department. You must have MEDICAL reception and billing experience!

Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Oversee needs of surgical department and make sure administrative paperwork is being completed on time
- Answer and direct phone calls using multi-line phone systems
- Manage team for appointments, appropriate check in and check out, entering proper demographics
- Manage A/R from billing and report to Practice Administrator
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks
- Pay invoices in timely fashion
- Get charts ready for audits

- Schedule front desk staff for all offices and make sure staffing requirements are adequate for clinic
- Run staff meetings and front desk meetings
- Be able to step in and help with front desk duties
- Balance out batches at end of day to make sure all money is collected
- Hiring, firing of front desk and billing staff
- Scrub hours for payroll, onboard new staff members, calculate employee bonuses and travel times
- Renew all medical staff licenses and hospital and insurance credentialling
- Meet with Practice Administrator to go over weekly reports
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office, manager
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle various inquiries efficiently
- Proficiency in phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management practices
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks is a plus
- Ability to transcribe accurately and proofread documents for errors
