CIH Properties, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, responsible and experienced individual to join our residential Property Management team! We are looking to fill a LEASING CONSULTANT position, located in SW/SE area of Washington DC. We are looking for a leasing rock star! The position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Leasing super-star with proven and highly successful track record
- A minimum of 3 years of multifamily property management experience
- 2 years of experience in the District of Columbia rental market
- Experience with leasing and fair housing practices a must
- Sales experience outside of leasing is a plus, but leasing experience is a must
- A customer service enthusiast
- A "can do" attitude
- High marks for interpersonal, oral, and writing skills
- College degree or some college is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while experiencing frequent interruptions
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Attracting qualified residents and achieving high occupancy in a compressed timeframe; requiring follow up on all prospect inquiries by phone and web
- Process applications in compliance with internal policies and District of Columbia laws
- Preparing accurate leases
- Contribute to the preparation of the weekly activity reports
- Conduct market surveys
- Manage turnovers

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
