Our Client located in Oak Brook is looking for a Vice President of Talent Acquisition who will be responsible for overseeing the strategies and operations of the talent acquisition function within an organization.
Job Responsibilities:
1. **Strategic Leadership:**
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the design and execution of innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and create staffing plans.
2. **Team Management:**
- Lead and manage the talent acquisition team, providing direction, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Ensure the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintains high levels of performance.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
3. **Candidate Experience:**
- Oversee the candidate experience, ensuring it is positive and reflective of the company’s culture and values.
- Implement and monitor processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting lifecycle.
4. **Employer Branding:**
- Develop and promote the company’s employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to create and manage employer branding initiatives.
- Represent the organization at industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
5. **Diversity and Inclusion:**
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Monitor and report on diversity metrics and take corrective actions as needed to improve diversity in hiring.
6. **Technology and Analytics:**
- Leverage technology to improve recruitment processes and candidate sourcing.
- Implement and manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
- Use data and analytics to measure and improve recruitment effectiveness and decision-making.
7. **Vendor Management:**
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with recruitment partners.
- Evaluate the performance of external partners to ensure they meet organizational needs and standards.
8. **Compliance and Best Practices:**
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and practices based on industry standards and feedback.
9. **Budget Management:**
- Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget.
- Ensure the efficient allocation of resources to achieve hiring goals within budget constraints.
10. **Stakeholder Collaboration:**
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and priorities.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on recruitment metrics, challenges, and successes.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the organization on all talent acquisition matters.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $137,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
