Diamondback Fire Protection LLC is seeking a Sprinkler Foreman for our DFW, TX office.
Position Summary:
Fire sprinkler foremen are responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They manage specific installation projects assigned to them by the Fire Sprinkler Manager. Foremen oversee the technicians, installation fitters and helpers working at the site. They ensure the entire installation process is done flawlessly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· 5+ years relevant experience required in all the following duties/responsibilities.
· Fire sprinkler foremen use project drawings to interpret installation requirement details accurately and entirely.
· Delegate appropriate tasks to fitters, technicians and helpers as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by the fire sprinkler manager.
· Install and test installation of fire suppression equipment in new or retrofit construction projects
· Follow designed plans, communicates needed design change to fit actual site requirements
· Be responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site.
· In charge of updating daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings.
· If a change to the order is necessary, they bring it to the attention of the project manager.
· Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in the basic process or service, repair, and/or system installation
· Accurately complete and maintain all paperwork
· Maintain vehicle and tools as per company policy
· Use hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power tools
· Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
· Working knowledge of pipefitting, fire sprinkler regulations, and fire protection codes.
· Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record to be approved to drive company vehicle.
· List any applicable education/qualifications.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· May lift and move 75-125 pounds of equipment or supplies.
· Works 6 feet or more above ground level (using lifts, platforms, and ladders.)
