```Job Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical team. As a provider, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your role will involve performing various clinical tasks, conducting patient assessments, and assisting in medical procedures. The ideal candidate is dedicated, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
```Duties```
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Assist in developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay updated on the latest medical research and advancements in healthcare
```Requirements```
- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of California
- NRCME (DOT) Certified or willingness to complete DOT course and testing for certification
- DEA Licensed
- ACLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in procedures such as sutures, I&D, joint injections, splinting
- Proficiency in reading/interpreting x-ray images
- Proficiency in reading/interpreting EKGs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, clients, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in occupational medicine is ideal; however, we are willing to train the right candidate as this is a specialized field. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care will be of benefit.

Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 50 per week
