```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Register patients by verifying their demographic and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and provide assistance or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in a medical office or as a medical receptionist preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and computers
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including handling emergency situations in the ER
