Position: Logistics Coordinator Location: New Jersey
Poggenpohl is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator overseeing all aspects of logistics throughout our supply chain. Reporting directly to the the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing overseas shipments, collaborating with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups, warehousing, and final mile deliveries. Specifically, this position coordinates the traffic flow of goods imported from our manufacturing facilities in Europe, to and from our 3PL warehouses and to final delivery at our residential and commercial customers within the U.S.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating with and managing 3PL providers to ensure prompt and proper receipt, storage, and delivery of shipments;
- Responding to client inquiries and directing to proper points of contact for assitance;
- Engaging in consistent communication with clients to ensure expectations are met;
- Ensuring timely schedules on all orders;
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving all shipping errors;
- Arranging special shipments as necessary;
- Reviewing purchase orders and various shipping documents to ensure accuracy;
- Preparing bills and invoices and managing all retroactive charges;
- Working with all revenue streams for JIT (Just in Time) Deliveries to avoid inventory; and
- Coordinating tasks, deliverables, and shipments in conjunction with logistic partners as well asother Poggenpohl departments both in the U.S. and internationally (Germany).

- Exceptional customer service capabilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 + years of logistics-related esperience, both domestic and international;
- Highly proficient with various technology modems for inventory and communication purposes;
- Bachelor’s Degree; and
- Microsoft Office proficiency required with SAP strongly preferred.
