We are opening our own take on an East Coast inspired, Italian American spot, with some California sensibilities. There will be (some) pizza, there will be pasta, there will be lots of vegetable-centric stuff going on – and there will be the opportunity to have fun with all of it. It’s a red sauce type of joint, but OUR way. This will be the neighborhood spot and having the locals come frequently is our mission-critical objective.
We are looking for someone to join a TEAM of restaurant people - specifically to support the General Manager in the development of the beverage program. We have ideas, we have experience, we have goals – but fundamentally we want creators to create and have fun within the brand’s ideology. Basically, help lead a team that makes delicious drinks and come to work excited every day about it.
This is a very personal project that pays homage to the founder’s grandmother. You will not find more passionate, professional, and excited people to open a place with.

The Job:
· Support the General Manager in creating and curating original cocktails that pay homage to Italian-American classics.
· We are a local spot, listen to the guests and adapt the drink menu accordingly.
· We live in Sonoma County – that means access to the best of just about everything. Use it.
· Oversee the production of all beverages, ensuring that every drink is prepared to the highest standards, aka YOURS.
· Develop the team to continually improve their skills and enhance efficiency for bar operations.
· Maintain a pristine and orderly bar environment. Show your craft the respect it deserves throughout the facility. This includes being the Champion of health and safety standards.
· Stay current. Keep your finger on the pulse of beverage innovation and trends.
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of beverage techniques and flavor profiles with a hunger to continue development in these areas.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and work within a team.
· Proficient in bar ordering and inventory control.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Thrives under pressure while remaining calm and in control.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years as bartender or similar beverage role.
· Opening experience preferred.
